Bursting with excitement

  This was supposed to be announced tomorrow but I just can't wait. The next supper club is going to be a huge departure from the usual format. In fact, I'm not sure if it will be recognisable as a supper club at all. However, I'm a bit unsure how much to tell you because I'd love you to come but I don't want to give the game away.

  The evening is going to be all about our relationship with food and making sure we're not letting it go. There are various activities planned that will certainly shake things up and help everyone really consider what our relationship with food is all about. But I've decided I'm not going to tell you what they are, it's a lot easier like that.

  You'll be quite aware of all the themes I'll be incorporating in the evening. It starts with my usual gripe that we're not making enough of our own food and that we spend too much time eating alone. If I think about it, too much of everything food related is happening alone so a lot of the evening will be about doing it together.

  Another of my constant moans that I'll be addressing is the idea that we are what we eat. It's become a bit of an overused phrase so I'll be rattling some cages to make sure no-one is taking that particular nugget for granted. The only glimpse of the evenings shenanigans that I'll let slip is that there will be no cutlery.

I'm pretty excited, as you can tell, and I'd be honoured if you came as it's definitely going to be a trip into the unknown and as this is the first one, it's going to be just as much as a surprise for me. One thing is for sure, I guarantee you'll not be disappointed.
