Staying focussed
I'll start off with a big buon giorno to Professor Scoggis who made a hasty retreat to ridiculously sunny Italy where he has been larging it round the BBQ and fruit trees. He sent the pics you can see below cos he was trying to make me jealous, which wasn't going well until he mentioned he was off to the track at Imola to put in a few laps on whichever motorcycle he has at his disposal. Stay on the grey and away from the green, maestro.
Back to important stuff like my mission for the week which I'm taking break from to tap this out. The mission which I have chosen to accept is food for thirty. It's a buffet to be exact and It's being served on Thursday lunch about two hours east of my place. I'll start cooking at home tonight and do more tomorrow before driving up on Wednesday for more cooking until it all gets served. So what am I doing now?
At the moment I'm writing lists and more lists. As you know I love my lists and I'm having a ball getting these together so I know all my recipes (list A) my shopping (B) all the tasks I need to do (C) as well as all the things I need to pack (Yes, we've worked out that would be list D -Ed.) What just occurred to me as I'm telling you about all the organisation is that I haven't factored in writing to you every day.
Don't worry, you've not been forgotten. I'll let you know the menu in due course and I'll get pictures of the ongoing debris of creation as well as the finished spread but for now I'm going to be sensible and return to the task at hand, finishing my lists then heading off to do a bit of shopping.
Come back tomorrow for a glimpse of the whirlwind.
