Drug dealing 101

  At the end of yesterday's post I said I was off to get a bit of eye rolling and deep sighing practice in. It's lucky I did because of this monster fuckery I just came across while picking up ingredients. I have previously moaned about packets of pancake mix being a massive waste of money and because not enough people have got the memo, the faud industry has ramped up their assault on the feeble minded by increasing their range of money wasting products.

  If you've just been released from decades of incarceration of have only just arrived on the planet then let me bring you up to speed. Pancake batter, pizza bases, tempura batter and Yorkshire puddings are all basically flour with a couple of other ingredients. Flour is very cheap and because the supermarkets want to make a lot of money, (see yesterday's post for more shocking revelations), they have found ways of selling flour at inflated prices. Do NOT get sucked in to their mischief! Buy flour at the regular price and make the recipes properly like your grandmother does/did, (delete as appropriate). 

  It occurred to me that this is kind of similar to the practice adopted by drug dealers but with a slight twist. They buy very expensive white powder and mix it with cheap shit to make more money. Supermarkets meanwhile, buy cheap white powder and mix it with fuck all of value which they then sell at an inflated price to make more money.

I'm off to get a bit more eye rolling and deep sighing practice in. I'm going to need it.
