Relentless
It's official, I'm bored. As this ridiculous flu type thing has me in bed for a fourth day I can let you know that feeling like shit, with no appetite and being unable to sleep has me at the end of my patience.
Overall there has been some improvement in my condition but it's slow. Unless a miracle occurs, tomorrow will be a write off too but I'm not thinking about that. I'd really like to eat something but my teeth hurt too much to chew, (no, really), and anything more than a cup of tea is way too much. Today I've feasted on very milky porridge for breakfast then a biscuit and half a banana and I've been feeling stuffed all day.
I'm not one to moan but I'm pretty sure you care enough to want to know. I still want to write something vaguely food related and last night I thought of a good subject. Kitchen fans. From time to time, I remind you that you probably need to clean the filters in your cooking hood as no one does it enough.
As a little recap, if your hood blows the vapours through the filters, effectively recirculating the air, then, unless your filters are cleaned regularly, all you are doing by switching on the fan is making noise and wasting electricity. If the hood is vented outside then lucky you but you'll still need to clean your filters.
That's all I have to say on that and any other subject for the day. I'm off to lie around in the dark, try and get comfortable and even get a little sleep and imagine what it will be like to eat again. Come back tomorrow for more thrilling updates.
