Nearly but not quite.

One of the most delightful features of the place we're going to is the lack of connection with the rest of the world. Ahhhhhh.... I can feel myself relaxing at the thought of no internet connection.

But that means that I may have to get creative so I can still broadcast. This may be bollocks of course as my phone can probably pick up a signal but we shall see. However, along with rustic levels of communication may be other primitive features and the thought of this always sets me on edge.

My worst nightmare!
Before you write in, you're absolutely right, I'm not sitting with a mojito in the glorious Spanish sunshine but that's because travelling always takes up a lot of time and energy and writing in advance makes my life easy. As I was saying before though, I'm sitting at home in anticipation that I'm going to walk in and find a nightmare of a kitchen. Surely not in Spain.

Something else that I've done in advance, which also gives away a bit of how excited I am, is to have made a rather extensive shopping list, however, if the kitchen is ill equipped then I'll just have to put everything on the BBQ. Can you tell how excited I am?

How does all this gibberish relate to you? If you hadn't guessed it would be the suggestion that you make sure you have some useful tools and gadgets in your kitchen. It's generally worth spending a bit more to make sure they are of better quality especially as they might be getting a hammering. There is such thing as too many, but the only downside of that is that you may run out of storage of never be able to find anything. Come back tomorrow when I'll definitely be broadcasting from the side of a mountain.
