Quiz time

Do you know the absolute best time to go food shopping at your favourite supermarket? When there's an international football match of massive significance about to start. Knowing kick off was imminent, I got my list and jumped in my car. As was driving there, I could hear the commentary warming up excitedly. I think the match is Eritrea against Croydon or something but whoever is playing, it certainly seems like a lot of people are interested.

The roads were pretty empty, like six in the morning on a Christmas day but a lot sunnier and warmer. The car park was a bit deserted but the real joy was still to come. The first clue to how much fun his was going to be was provided by the huge lines of tethered trolleys, waiting hopefully for a fare.
Once inside, the full splendour of the deserted isles presented themselves. A quick glance around told me there was a good chance the staff outnumbered the customers and I'll be absolutely honest when I tell you that I was feeling rather smug.

I didn't need to do a massive shop, it was more a case of picking up some big, heavy things that are a bit of a challenge on the bike and in no time it was done. Car loaded and back onto the empty roads. I made it home, past the pubs overflowing with fans, before the half time whistle was blown and rolled up my sleeves.

You can see the light supper above. It went down a treat after my day of hard graft. Not sure how the match turned out though, if anybody finds out the score just drop me a line.
