Above and beyond

Following on from yesterday's post, there's been a huge influx of messages and what really helps is that some are going to help fill this page. The acronym for this is UGC, (user generated content) and it's about to be put to good use.

In fact, with any luck it'll provide content for a couple of days but that in no way diminishes from its quality as today's post will prove. A picture and a video arrived from the incredibly hard working Cosmo showing, what he called, his commitment to the cause.
A little something he threw together.
There's no doubt that he puts in a very full day's hard graft and yet he still, very admirably, knocked up the plate you see above. What you can't appreciate, but I got to see from the video, is that he's managed this while living in a building site.

It was cooked on a single portable ring sitting on a washing machine and the only work surface available was the draining board of the sink unit that you can see. I have no idea when the kitchen is getting installed but my hat comes off to him for not throwing in the towel and nipping out for a quick (insert favourite takeaway here).

If he can do that after a full physical day with the barest of cooking facilities then I'd love to hear what excuse you managed to tell yourself for calling up Deliveroo, or whatever. However, you might also be committed to making proper food in which case I'd love to hear form you (with a picture please).
Tomorrow, more UGC.
