A supremely close shave

  This is another of those evenings when a combination of a long working day and the onset of alzheimer's means it is way past my bedtime when I finally get to tell you about some food related gibberish.

  There were plans for a full rundown of yesterday's supper and it was so good that you will get to hear about it. But not tonight.

 Instead, all I'll tell you is that I coincidentally discovered that a very good friendhaud a similar themed meal but he succumbed to the tinned version of on element.

  My hope is to show him the ease with which the genuine article can be made but once he finds out how long it takes, I'll have him laugh in my face as he reaches for another can of the stuff.

  As usual you'll have to come back tomorrow to hear about it. Oh, stop complaining, at least I didn't totally forget about you.
